Running is healthy, running is fun. The word has long been out in bad staffelstein, where the well-known annual obermain marathon is held, among other events.
The idea of solidarity

In the form of closed "sponsor contracts" – for example, the grandfather of one of the runners gave two euros to the donation pot for every lap he or she ran – and the total sum raised was a handsome 3500 euros.
In addition to the "forderverein der viktor-von-scheffel-realschule" (1500 euro) and the "schulmitverantwortung" (500 euro), the outpatient residential community for seniors with dementia in bad staffelstein also received a donation of 1500 euro.
Edmund popp was very pleased on behalf of the school when the check was handed over at the summer party by peter gerhardt, head of the secondary school, and carolin leikeim and markus motschenbacher, who organized the charity run and were actively supported by dagmar christian-suppel and daniela schad from the parents' council.
The schoolchildren – represented here by school spokeswomen milena schardt and indira schittenhelm – were also pleased with the success of the project.
